I Love You So Much
My husband, Ken, and I leave I love you notes for each other to find. Recently, while I was at a meeting, he duct taped a paper towel to the garage door that said, “Welcome home. I missed you.”
I leave notes for him too, on his computer keyboard and bathroom mirror. The ones he leaves in my lingerie drawer I really can’t talk about.
Often Ken will leave me a note with a stick figure drawn on it, the cartoonish long arms outstretched. The words, “I love you sooooo much!” are inscribed below the picture.
When I was photographing animals on Resurrection Bay I felt a puffin saying the same thing.
